Here's one of my fav strips Alan wrote , i had so much fun drawing this 

way back in 2003 i used a pen name then Johnny Horney  ,

2 new Buddha scripts to draw

got through the post this week two more funny Buddha scripts from
the Legend of action/ humour comics Alan Grant

one story is based in Mexico and the other in China both scripts have been signed by Alan
so soon I'll run a competition on this blog the winner will get a script signed by Alan with a doodle by me on it plus a page of Buddha comic strip art , so stay tuned.

When i first started drawing Tales of the Buddha before he got enlightened 8 years ago

i wanted the art to be a mix of two styles 

French fantasy European art style by Moebius and American underground art by Robert Crumb 

as you can see from these two samples the blend worked well with the mighty Chubby one

BUDDHA COLLECTION COVER MOCK UP

there are plans  to release a collection of Tales of the Buddha featuring strips that have appeared in Northern Lightz and Wasted comics , the collection will also include pin-up's by the cream of comic artists such as Simon Bisley, Cam Kennedy and David Taylor plus others.

just finished a 4 page new Buddha story where Buddha meets Jonah and the whale and the followers of the fish god return as well it was a scream to draw so i thank Alan for a very funny script which has cheered me up greatly in these sad days .
